Supporting player recruitment, retention & transition into adult rugby

As part of our continued commitment to strengthening the coaching experience across our clubs, which will lead to improved player recruitment, retention and transition into senior rugby, we would like to invite you to take part in our new Recruiting, Deploying & Developing Coaches workshop.

Building on the good practice that is already going on in clubs, this workshop has been designed to support clubs in:

·         Recruiting the right coaches using practical tools and processes

·         Deploying new and existing coaches effectively through induction and support structures

·         Developing coaches through clear pathways, role clarity, and the England Rugby Learning offer

·         Date:  07/09/2026

·         Time: 7-8.45pm

·         Location: Cheltenham North RFC, GL52 7DG

What to Expect:

The workshop is interactive and will include:

·         Group discussion 

·         Tools and examples to support coach recruitment and deployment

·         Exploration of roles and support systems (including buddy/mentoring approaches)

·         Opportunities to reflect on your club's current practice and identify areas for development
