Gloucestershire RFU is looking for a proactive and organised Procurement & Inventory Manager to lead on all things kit - sourcing, storage, stock control, and stakeholder management.

This is more than just ordering shirts and shorts. You’ll be at the heart of keeping our county teams, volunteers, and event crews kitted out and ready to go, managing the full kit lifecycle from purchase to distribution.

We’re after someone who can:

Negotiate and manage supplier contracts

Maintain clear, up-to-date records of stock and orders

Work with team managers, volunteers, and GRFU leadership to forecast kit needs and coordinate delivery

Create and maintain smooth, efficient procurement and inventory processes

Keep an eye on costs and timelines without compromising quality

The kit is stored in North Bristol, so ideally you’ll be based nearby or able to access the site regularly. But you’ll also work with people across the county, building strong relationships and keeping communication flowing.

🛠️ What helps:

Experience in procurement, logistics, or stock management (voluntary or professional)

Good negotiation and communication skills

Confidence managing spreadsheets and records

A methodical, reliable approach and a team-player mindset
