GRFU is launching a Youth Council for young people aged 16-24 who are passionate about rugby, volunteering, leadership or making sport better for the next generation.
This is your chance to share ideas, represent young voices and influence how rugby develops across the county. You’ll also gain real experience, build confidence, develop leadership and communication skills, and strengthen your CV, UCAS, apprenticeship or job applications.
As a Youth Council member, you’ll have the chance to:
• influence the future of rugby in Gloucestershire
• represent the views of young people
• meet others who care about rugby and community sport
• gain leadership and project experience
• build skills that look great on your CV
• support projects around participation, inclusion, volunteering and game development
The Council will meet around six times a year, usually online, so it can fit around rugby, education, work and volunteering.
Open to players, coaches, referees, volunteers, students, club members and young people connected to rugby in Gloucestershire.
